Nashville Moving Company’s Workman’s Compensation

For more in depth information regarding Nashville moving company’s workman’s compensation details, contact The Green Truck Movers situated on 315 10th Ave. N Ste.107.

It is extremely important for you as the moving client to know that it is your responsibility to make sure as an individual or business that the moving company you are hiring is covered by Workman's Compensation.  If you hire a moving company that is not covered for workman’s compensation, you are accepting FULL LIABILITY for any employees who are injured during your move, because the local authority might just consider them as your employee while they are working.  This includes medical bills and lost wages and a possible civil law suit. So, do make sure that you actually physically see and have printed proof of the moving company’s workman’s compensation documents.

Nashville Moving Insurance

Contact The Green Truck Movers situated on 315 10th Ave. N Ste.107 for more in depth information regarding Nashville moving insurance details. It is very important to understand that it is the mover’s responsibility to make sure that he/she is properly insured when moving, and not the moving company’s. Just because the moving company says they are insured, does not mean that they are fully insuring your merchandise when moving.

Following are 3 types of moving insurances to consider when moving:

1. Is the company insured against damage to property and or vehicles (commercial/automotive insurance)?
2. Is the company insured against damage to special furniture such as a piano (cartage/content insurance)?
3. Is the company insuring its workers against injury (Workman's Compensation)?

Never assume that all of the above are being covered (unfortunately most people do and sometimes pay a dear price for it). Is there a legal document to show that the customer is insured? The MOST IMPORTANT reason to use a REPUTABLE mover, has to do with insurance.

 Support the Green Move-Ment”

December is a month packed to the brim with festivities. There are Christmas parties galore, eight nights of Hanukkah and for a special few even college graduation! Graduation is such an amazing time for families to celebrate. Relatives come in town to celebrate the academic accomplishments of their kin, and parents rejoice that the tuition bills have finally come to an end.

However, for many that choose to further their education away from their hometown graduation also means moving. No one, and I mean NO ONE enjoys moving. We’ve all thought to ourselves before that our kids really can’t acquire that much stuff in four short years. But once your three trips deep with the U-Haul, and the sun is sinking quickly from the sky you start to second-guess your husband’s brilliant decision to take this project on yourselves. In the end it’s actually more expensive than paying a moving service. The furniture is heavy and the bubble wrap and packing materials for delicate items keep piling up. Eventually all you see is dollar signs, and instead of the proud mom you should be this entire month your frustration is starting to show through. Not to mention all the cardboard, packing paper, and crap you’ll have to get rid of once you get everything settled into your grad’s new place.

Why not avoid all this unneeded stress and continue the celebration by contacting Green Truck Moving Company today? They are located in Nashville and serve all surrounding areas. Not to mention this is the only eco friendly moving company in the area! Green Truck Moving Company uses only the most environmentally friendly packing materials and handles all of your cherished belongings with extreme care. Even their trucks are fuel-efficient!

The Green Truck Moving Company

Each day countless families pack their cherished belongings into tens of duct taped, cardboard boxes to be stacked into trucks and moved across city, state or country for a new beginning. However, you know as well as I do that the moving process is no walk in the park. First, there are those rude and careless moving men that pay no attention to the value and age of your great grandmother’s bed frame, passed down from generation to generation. Second, the nagging worry that the brand new plasma screen you got on black Friday wasn’t packed carefully, and you’ll peel back the bubble wrap to find a jagged crack down all 60 inches. No telling how many trees had to be cut down to produce that huge heap of cardboard you have to dispose of when this is all over. What will you even do with it? You just moved, the last thing on your mind is finding the nearest recycling center to cut down on environmental waste. It’s all so tedious and time consuming, after all these years there must be a better way!

Nashville TN Piano Movers

For Nashville TN piano movers, as well as all your residential, commercial,  long distance,  office,  apartment and condo moving; packing, load and/or unload only, rearranging, recycling, unpacking, and senior services; boxes for purchase and free cardboard/plastic recycling services after every move, contact The Green Truck Movers situated in Tennessee.

Piano moving is a specialty to itself.  The average upright piano weighs anywhere between 400 and 900 pounds. Grand pianos start at 650 pounds and can go all the way up to1300 pounds.  The value of a piano can vary from a couple of hundred dollars to half a million dollars depending on the make, model, age and condition of the piano.  Most household movers do not include the piano in their general household pricing.  Moving a piano almost always requires it to be moved through a space that has a tight squeeze (i.e. a door frame, staircase, etc). Therefore it is best to contact professional TN piano movers when you have a piano that needs to be moved.
